Cassava is a horticultural commodity that is processed first
before being consumed. The results of this plantation can be utilized into products that have high
economic value. One of them can be done by diversifying products, namely making nuggets from
cassava. The method of implementing this activity is carried out by socializing and practicing
making nuggets from cassava. The socialization provided explains about increasing economic value
by diversifying products, namely making nuggets from cassava.
Abstrack
The internship program is part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, an experience-based
program aimed at improving students' practical work skills. The internship at the Mataram City Trade Office,
specifically in the metrology field, provides students with the opportunity to directly understand the metrology
service process, which is a crucial element in ensuring fair transactions and consumer protection, particularly
through product monitoring, calibration/recalibration, and calibration of measuring instruments. This community
service activity was carried out for 4 months from February 2025 to June 2025 using 3 methods: provision,
mentoring, monitoring and evaluation, and report preparation. In this activity, students are directly involved in
service activities carried out by the metrology sector, which focuses on monitoring the quantity of packaged
products, recalibration services at gas stations, and calibration of market scales. Through mentoring activities
carried out by institutional supervisors, students understand the workflow, especially in the metrology field, which
plays a crucial role in fair transactions and consumer protection. Through regular monitoring and evaluation
activities, students receive constructive feedback to improve their competencies. The results of this activity are
improved student understanding of government workflows, work ethics, and direct involvement in providing
services to gas station operators, market vendors, and distributors. Students also gain experience in preparing work
reports, conducting field visits to markets, distributors, and gas stations, participating in evaluations, and building
networks, thus better preparing them for the future world of work.
siti nurmayanti, Risna Putri Zahara, Ni Nengah Dira Windriani, Nuhan Ependi

Abstract
The behavior of residents living in urban areas towards fulfilling their primary needs tends to change, this
change has a positive impact on the development of culinary businesses due to increasing consumer
demand for food and beverage products. One of the groups of culinary traders is food handlers in the Bumi
Gora Udayana culinary area, Karang Baru Village, Selaparang District, Mataram City. However, on the other
hand, food handlers' lack of knowledge regarding financial literacy and non-cash payment systems will have
an impact on their welfare which is not always positively correlated with increasing sales turnover of the
products produced. Therefore, dedication related to financial inclusion and a QRIS-based non-cash
payment system is very necessary. The activity method used in this activity is firstly observing the target
audience to ensure the target's knowledge is related to financial inclusion and the QRIS-based non-cash
payment system, providing counseling using participatory methods and providing evaluation and
monitoring assistance to food handlers related to financial linclusion and the system. QRIS-based non-cash
payments 2 weeks after the service was carried out. The results of this activity were that the first
participants who attended exceeded the set target, namely 23 people (115%), participants did not have
sufficient knowledge about financial literacy and the QRIS-based non-cash payment system, they do not
know the difference between cash and non-cash payment systems and do not know the impact of non-cash
payment systems on their income. One of the causes of the participants' low knowledge was due to their
low level of education. Second, after being presented with material related to QRIS, participants were
interested in using it, however, assistance was needed from bank financial institutions.
Ida Ayu Putri Suprapti, Taufik Chaidir, Siti Maryam, Gusti Ayu Arini, Baiq Ismiwati

ABSTRACT
Small and Medium Industries (SMIs) play a strategic role in supporting local economic growth and
job creation. However, many SMI actors in West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) still operate without
legal business status, such as the Business Identification Number (NIB). The absence of business
legality limits their access to financing, partnerships, and government empowerment programs. This
community engagement activity provided direct assistance to help SMI actors obtain business legality
through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. The activities included awareness sessions,
registration simulations, and individual technical guidance. The results indicate that a practice-based
approach is highly effective in enhancing understanding and accelerating the business legalization
process.
Juandika Setiananda, Liya Alimatussakdiah Munawarah, Melida Susanti, nur aida arifah tara
