BANK HEALTH ANALYSIS USING RGEC IN STATE-OWNED BANKS ON THE INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE 2019-2023 PERIOD

Abstract

           This study aims to determine the health level of four state-owned commercial banks in terms of RGEC for the 2019-2023 period. This research can provide new insights into the impact of RGEC analysis on bank health levels on banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2023 period. The data used in this study is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The data analysis technique used in this study is financial statement analysis to measure bank health levels, using the RGEC method, which refers to Bank Ratio Regulation Number 13/1/PBI/2011. The study found that the risk profiles of all banks are considered healthy, although BTN showed a high LDR value. Second, all four banks have good corporate governance, with Mandiri and BRI performing the best. Third, BRI and Mandiri demonstrated the best earnings, while BTN still needs to improve operational efficiency. Fourth, all four banks have very healthy capital adequacy ratio (CAR) above the BI minimum limit. Fifth, overall, Bank Mandiri, BRI, and BNI are classified as very healthy, while BTN is considered healthy
