Abstract

ABSTRACT
The Regional Revenue Agency (Bappenda) plays an important role in increasing public
awareness to pay taxes as the main source of regional original income. Through routine and
educational tax socialization, Bappenda strives to provide taxpayers with an understanding of
the obligations and benefits of paying taxes, as well as transparency in the use of tax funds for
regional development. This role is supported by regulations such as Government Regulation
Number 10 of 2021 concerning Regional Taxes which strengthens regional fiscal policies in
supporting national economic stability. With a structured approach and optimal service,
Bappenda contributes significantly to increasing regional tax revenues which leads to
improving the quality of public services and infrastructure development
