Peran Strategis Manajemen Risiko dan Kredit Gadai dalam Operasional PT Pegadaian Cabang Ampenan: Refleksi Pengalaman Magang

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic role of risk management and pawn credit in the operational activities of PT Pegadaian Cabang Ampenan based on internship experience. A qualitative approach was employed through direct observation, document review, and participation in daily operational activities during the internship period. The findings reveal that risk management at PT Pegadaian Ampenan encompasses collateral valution procedures, credit feasibility analysis, non-performing loan handling, and internal control systems. Effective implementation of these mechanisms ensures the quality of credit disbursement, minimizes potential losses, and maintans community trust in pawning services. It is concluded that structured and systematic ris management and pawn credit processe are vital foundations for PT Pegadaian’s operational sustainability and its mission to provide accessible financial services for the community.
