Ownership

International Journal of Tourism Business Research (INTOUR) is owned and published by the Tourism Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, Indonesia. The journal was first published in December 2022. It is an electronic journal with E-ISSN 2985-5934 and is published twice a year, in June and December.

Establishment and Formal Appointment of the Management Team

In 2022, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, issued Decree No. 5171/UN18.F1/KP/2022, dated 24 August 2022, concerning the appointment of the Management Team for the International Journal of Tourism, Diploma III Tourism Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram. The decree appointed the journal’s management team for the 2022 calendar year, from 1 July to 31 December 2022.

This decree provides the formal institutional basis for the appointment of the journal’s management team in 2022. The journal is published under the auspices of the Tourism Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram.

Management

INTOUR is managed by an editorial team responsible for editorial policies, initial manuscript screening, coordination of peer review, editorial decisions, and publication scheduling. The journal publishes peer-reviewed research articles within tourism business research and related fields. It welcomes relevant submissions from scholars and researchers in Indonesia and internationally.

Editorial decisions are based on the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, scholarly contribution, methodological rigor, and quality of presentation. The journal’s author requirements, peer-review process, and publication ethics are set out in its published policies and author guidelines.

Editorial Independence

The publisher provides the institutional and administrative framework for the journal. Editorial decisions are made by the editors in accordance with INTOUR’s editorial policies and peer-review procedures. Decisions on individual manuscripts are based on scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Access and Publication
