Praktik Green Hotel di Sanur, Bali: Perjalanan Menuju Ekosistem Pariwisata Pesisir yang Berkelanjutan

Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi konsep green hotel oleh hotel-hotel di Sanur, Bali, serta kontribusinya dalam mendukung pembangunan ekosistem pariwisata pesisir yang berkelanjutan. Meskipun Sanur dikenal dengan lingkungan yang tenang dan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat yang kuat, penerapan praktik ramah lingkungan di sektor perhotelan masih belum konsisten dan relatif kurang dikaji. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara manajemen hotel dan observasi langsung, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi inisiatif serta tantangan dalam penerapan praktik keberlanjutan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sejumlah hotel telah menerapkan praktik keberlanjutan pada lima aspek utama, yaitu lingkungan hotel, penggunaan energi, edukasi wisatawan, amenitas, dan pengelolaan limbah. Namun demikian, hotel masih menghadapi kendala berupa rendahnya kesadaran staf dan tamu, keterbatasan pendanaan, serta belum adanya regulasi dan insentif pemerintah yang jelas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya pendekatan yang lebih terstruktur dan kolaboratif melalui sinergi antara pemerintah, asosiasi perhotelan, dan masyarakat lokal.
